Every year, the Month of February is celebrated as “Civil Registration Month”, pursuant to Proclamation No. 682 issued by then President Corazon C. Aquino on January 28, 1991. As such, a memorandum circular issued by Undersecretary, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General Dennis S. Mapa, stating all PSA Field Offices and Local Civil Registry Offices are enjoined to participate in celebration of the “33rd Civil Registration Month with the theme “PSA@10: Providing Efficient and Effective Civil Registration and Vital Statistics through Digital Transformation” adopting the PSA theme for 2023. The Civil Registry Law or Republic Act 3753 mandates that all vital events (birth, marriage, and death) should be registered. 

 


NCR Provincial Statistical Office II paraded around the vicinity of the Office wherein there are numerous households and establishments for citizens to realize the importance of Civil Registration in their lives.
