Taguig City, Philippines – 18 January 2025. The National ID team, in collaboration with Barangay North Signal Village, successfully launched its first registration caravan of the year last Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Barangay Hall. This LGU-sponsored initiative was designed to bring accessible and convenient National ID registration services closer to the community, ensuring that residents aged five years and above could participate in this vital program.
A total of 28 residents were successfully registered during the event, with six receiving their National IDs in paper form. Additionally, several attendees were guided on accessing their digital IDs, providing them with greater ease and flexibility in using their National ID. The event ran smoothly, thanks to the outstanding support and coordination of the barangay officials and staff, who created a welcoming and organized environment for all registrants.
Despite encountering challenges such as multiple power interruptions throughout the day, the National ID team persevered and ensured that all participants were properly assisted. As the first caravan of 2025, the event set a strong tone for the year ahead, showcasing the unwavering commitment of the National ID team and Barangay North Signal Village officials to deliver quality public service. This collaborative effort underscores the importance of bringing government programs closer to communities, empowering citizens, and fostering inclusivity.
