18 March 2025 – QUEZON CITY, Philippines. In observance of National Women’s Month, the Philippine Statistics Authority-National Capital Region Provincial Statistical Office II (PSA NCR PSO II) continues to bring the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) registration closer to every Filipina and their households, ensuring comprehensive and equitable access to the National ID.
As part of its commitment to inclusivity, the National ID Registration team conducted a special house-to-house registration initiative, giving priority to those with mobility constraints. Notably, a 94-year-old bedridden resident of Barangay Payatas, Quezon City, successfully completed her National ID registration through the direct assistance from PSA personnel, exemplifying the agency’s dedication to serving even the most vulnerable sectors of society.
This initiative underscores the agency’s dedication to providing accessible and convenient registration services to all Filipinos, irrespective of their physical condition or location. The PSA NCR PSO II remains dedicated in its mission to ensure that every citizen can benefit from a valid and secure national identification system.
The National ID serves as an official proof of identity, streamlining access to government and private sector services, financial transactions, and social protection programs. Through ongoing efforts like these, the PSA NCR PSO II seeks to empower more individuals, particularly women, by providing them a formal identity that enhances their participation in society.
