26 MARCH 2025 – QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES. The Philippine Statistics Authority National Capital Region Provincial Statistical Office II, which covers Quezon City and the City of Marikina, conducted the third-level training on 26 to 27 March 2025.

Eight (8) statistical researchers and five (5) office workers attended this event held at the 8th-Floor EDSA Grand Residences Provincial Statistical Office National Capital Region.

The 2025 April CES is to be undertaken in 56 provinces representing all regions except in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

The CES is a household-based survey on consumer’s assessments of their family income, financial situation, and the economic condition of the country. At least 2500 households are required for each sampling domain, the National Capital Region (NCR) and Areas Outside the NCR (AONCR), using a two-stage cluster sampling and utilized the 2023 Geo-enabled Master Sample as its sampling frame starting this 2025.The CES is a complementary survey to the Business Expectation Survey (BES) of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

A total of 209 sample households in Quezon City and 106 sample households in the City of Marikina.

The enumeration is scheduled from 02 to 15 April 2025.
