28 February 2025 – QUEZON CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority National Capital Region (PSA NCR) joins the nation in celebrating the 2025 National Women’s Month, commencing on 01 March 2025. In line with this year's theme, “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,” PSA NCR has organized a series of meaningful activities throughout the month to honor and empower women across all sectors.

The National Women’s Month Celebration, observed every March, is in accordance with Republic Act 9710, or the Magna Carta of Women, which institutionalizes the promotion of women's rights and gender equality. This annual event aims to recognize the significant contributions of women in all sectors while advocating for policies and programs that uplift and empower them.

PSA NCR's commitment to this cause is evident through its planned activities, including the display of thematic streamers, the distribution of advocacy materials, and the conduct of gender sensitivity training sessions. These initiatives are designed to raise awareness and foster a culture of inclusivity and respect within the community.

With this milestone celebration, the government, in collaboration with various stakeholders, remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering a society where women have equal rights, opportunities, and access to resources, ensuring that no woman is left behind in the journey toward a truly inclusive Bagong Pilipinas.
