City of Taguig, 20 June 2025 Philippines. The NCR 3 National ID System Team successfully held a one-day mobile registration and simultaneous orientation in Barangay Cembo on June 10, 2025, in collaboration with local barangay officials.
The team offered on-site registration for the National ID (PhilID) and accepted applications for various Civil Registry Documents, including Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates, Certificates of No Marriage (CENOMAR), and Death Certificates, making it easier for residents to access these essential government services without leaving their community.
A total of 51 residents were registered during the activity. The majority were working individuals who often have limited time to visit registration centers, as well as senior citizens who need the National ID for digital services such as GCash verification. The registration was completed smoothly and efficiently.
Among those registered was a one-month-old baby girl, the youngest registrant of the day. Her mother, upon learning from the barangay that infants may now register for the National ID, immediately brought her baby to the barangay hall to avail of the services. She expressed her desire for her daughter to have a valid proof of identity as early as possible, believing it will be beneficial for her future access to government and financial services.

Simultaneously, the team also conducted an orientation session with leaders of the Homeowners Associations in Barangay Cembo. The session was part of the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign of the NCR 3 National ID System Team, aimed at raising awareness on the importance, benefits, updates, and registration process of the National ID.
The orientation was facilitated by National ID Information Systems Analyst I, Mr. Richard Lunar, who provided detailed information on how the National ID enhances access to government and financial services, strengthens identity verification, and contributes to digital inclusion for all Filipinos. The session empowered community leaders to cascade the information to their members and encourage wider participation in the program.

The NCR 3 National ID System Team extends its sincere appreciation to the officials and residents of Barangay Cembo for their warm reception and cooperation. This activity reflects the team’s continuing efforts to make National ID services more inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the needs of every Filipino.
