Ms. Amelia G. Basilio, Chief Statistical Specialist, led the coordination with the Department of Education (DepEd) City of Schools Division-San Juan on registration of the students in the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). The National Capital Region Provincial Statistical Office I (NCR PSO I) had the full support of Divisions School Superintendent, Dr. Cecile G. Carandang, and the principal of public schools in the city.

The NCR PSO I conducted PhilSys Registration in 13 schools in the city which ran from 13 February to 02 March 2023. A total of 671 students and DepEd personnel were registered in the PhilSys.

It could be remembered that in 2022, the NCR PSO I already visited the public and some private schools in the city and recorded a total of 3,245 individuals five (5) years old and over.

The NCR PSO I also offered printing of ePhilID service to the students and DepEd personnel who have not yet received their PhilID but have their PSNs generated upon verification.
