Caloocan City, February 3, 2025 – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) National Capital Region IV Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela (NCR IV CAMANAVA) proudly launched the 35th Civil Registration Month with the theme “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System”. Series of engaging activities aimed at raising awareness about civil registration and fostering a strong sense of camaraderie among PSA personnel.

The celebration kicked off with a vibrant CRM Kickoff Parade in the streets of Barangay 81 and Barangay 78 of Caloocan City, which not only gathered PSA NCR IV personnel, and the local community but also included the distribution of Civil Registration brochures to the public. These brochures provided valuable information on the importance of civil registration and encouraged residents to ensure their vital events, such as births, marriages, and deaths, are properly registered.

Following the parade, the Opening Ceremony officially marked the start of the month-long celebration. PSA NCR IV OIC Cynthia S. Laxina delivered inspiring remarks that highlighted the importance of civil registration in the lives of Filipinos, underscoring how accurate records contribute to effective governance and public services. The 35th Civil Registration Month Long Activities were also presented to the employees of PSA NCR IV.

In the spirit of unity and teamwork, PSA NCR IV personnel participated in Team-Building Activities. These activities were designed to promote collaboration, strengthen communication, and enhance relationships among staff members. The team-building exercises fostered a positive work environment and reinforced the collective commitment to the PSA’s mission.
The day's events concluded with a Luncheon Fellowship, providing an opportunity for PSA NCR IV staff to relax, reflect on the day's activities, and build stronger bonds with one another. The fellowship created a space for informal interactions and camaraderie, further enhancing the sense of community within the office.

As the 35th Civil Registration Month continues, PSA NCR IV remains dedicated to providing quality services to the public and raising awareness about the importance of civil registration in nation-building. The upcoming weeks will feature a series of outreach programs, seminars, and activities aimed at educating the public on the value of registering vital events.
