The Philippine Statistics Authority-National Capital Region Provincial Statistical Office I (PSA-NCR PSO I) will conduct the 2021 Labor Turnover Survey (LTS) starting 31 August 2021 in the cities of Manila, Mandaluyong, and San Juan.

The LTS is conducted semi-annually by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to generate data on labor turnover including accession and separation rates and job vacancies as useful indicators of labor demand and general business situation of the country. Results of the semi-annual survey will provide the government and the private sector a complete picture of labor demand and job turnover.

The NCR PSO I has a total of 524 sample establishments — 292 in the City of Manila, 166 in the City of Mandaluyong, and 66 establishments in the City of San Juan — to be enumerated for 2021 LTS. The office hired 10 Statistical Researchers who will distribute and collect the questionnaires in the sample establishments in the three (3) cities.

In line with this, the PSA enjoins establishments in the three (3) cities to support the survey by providing the required information. An authorized PSA interviewer will visit the establishments to distribute and collect the questionnaires. PSA personnel are directed to strictly observe minimum public health and safety standards during all phases of the field operations to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
