The Philippine Statistics Authority-National Capital Region Provincial Statistical Ofice I (PSA-NCR PSO l) will conduct the 2021 Updating of Geo-tagged Building Structures and Geo-tagging of Economic Areas starting 30 August 2021 in the City of Manila particularly Tondo District.

This undertaking primarily involves the digitization, updating, validation and processing of geo-tagged building structures, Census of Population and Housing (CPH), and economic areas. This activity likewise includes the conduct of field data collection activities and evaluation of the processed maps. lt aims to update and develop processed statistical data and geospatial information collected during the conduct of 2020 CPH.

The office hired two (2) Map Data Screener (MDS), eight (8) Map Data Collector (MDC) who will undertake activity using a tablet as a method of data collection.

ln line with this, the public are encouraged to support and cooperate in the conduct of the 2021 Updating of Geo-tagged Building Structures and Geo-tagging of Economic Areas. PSA personnel are directed to strictly observe minimum public health and safety standards during all phases of field operations to prevent the spread of COVID 19.
