27 June 2024 – QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES. The Philippine Statistics Authority National Capital Region Provincial Statistical Office II, which covers Quezon City and the City of Marikina, conducted the third-level training on 26 to 27 June 2024. Ten statistical researchers (SRs) and seven office workers attended this event held at the 8th-floor Provincial Statistical Office II National Capital Region.

The July 2024 CES is to be undertaken in 56 provinces representing all regions except in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

The CES is a household-based survey on consumer’s assessments of their family income, financial situation, and the economic condition of the country. It is administered on a sample basis at the household level, drawn through stratified multi-stage random sampling with a total sample of about 5,000 households. The CES is a complementary survey to the Business Expectation Survey (BES) of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

A total of 392 sample households in Quezon City and 97 sample households in the City of Marikina.

The enumeration is scheduled from 01 July to 12 July 2024.
