The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office-National Capital Region (PSA RSSO-NCR) announces the conduct of the 27^th Philippine Statistics Quiz – Regional Championship on 10 November 2023 (Friday) within Metro Manila.

General Guidelines of the contest are as follows:

1. Contestants:

• Filipino first-time college freshmen currently enrolled for the School Year 2023-2024 and not enrolled for not more than two semesters (or its equivalent term) in any recognized tertiary academic institution in Metro Manila.

• Each contestant is entitled to one coach. The coach must be officially endorsed by an official of the academic institution where the contestant is enrolled.

• The Regional Champion will serve as the representative to the 27^th PSQ National Finals. In the event that the regional champion is not available, the next ranker will serve as the substitute.

2. Time and Venue:

The Regional Championship is simultaneously conducted across 17 regions on 10 November 2023. For NCR, this event will be conducted within the Metro Manila and and once decided, it will be announced to confirmed contestants.

3. Prizes: To be announced.

4. Registration

To register, the following should be personally submitted to the PSQ-NCR Secretariat at the PSA-NCR Office, 9/F EDSA Grand Residences, 75 Corregidor St. corner EDSA, Brgy. Ramon Magsaysay, Quezon City, not later than 20 October (Friday).

1. PSQ Information Sheet with half-body photo on white background
2. Certification of enrollment as a college freshman for the School Year
   (S.Y.) 2023-2024
3. Proof of enrollment for the S.Y. 2023-2024
4. Official endorsement by an official of the academic institution where the contestant is enrolled.
5. High School Diploma.

• The registration period will end when a maximum of 30 participants has been achieved.
• Interested schools may register only one (participant).
