Makati, Philippines - July 5, 2024 — Aurelio P. De Leon, Chairman of the Philippine Racing Commission (PRC), successfully registered for his Philippine National ID today, 05 July 2024 at his office in the Electra House Building, Esteban Street corner Rufino Street, Makati.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) facilitated the on-site registration, bringing their services directly to Chairman De Leon’s office. Recognizing the significance of the National ID system in streamlining government services and enhancing accessibility, Chairman De Leon took this opportunity to register, he even encouraged his colleagues and employees at the PRC to do the same.

"Having a National ID is a significant step towards achieving a more efficient and inclusive society," said Chairman De Leon. "I am grateful to the PSA for bringing this service directly to our office, making it convenient for everyone to participate in this important initiative. I encourage all PRC employees to register and be part of this national effort."

The on-site registration was a resounding success, with 20 PRC employees completing their National ID registration in less than three (3) hours. This efficient process demonstrated the PSA's commitment to making the National ID system accessible and convenient for all Filipinos.

The PSA continues to emphasize the importance of the National ID system in facilitating easier access to government and private services, enhancing security, and promoting overall national development. Through the strategy of conducting on-site registrations at various institutions, the PSA was able to ensure that all citizens could register for their National ID with ease.
