Hired Statistical Researcher with the respondent on a face-to-face interview

The Philippine Statistics Authority National Capital Region—Provincial Statistical Office V (PSA NCR—PSO V) officially started the January 2024 Labor Force Survey (LFS) and 2023 Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) Visit 2 on January 8, 2024, by coordinating with the sample barangays in the 4 cities. The Labor Force Survey is a nationwide survey of households conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to gather data on the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the population. While the Family Income Expenditure Survey (FIES) is a survey on the family income and expenditure of households, it is the main source of data on family income and expenditure in the Philippines.

With this, the office recruited 24 team supervisors and 222 statistical researchers who will go to the selected households for face-to-face interviews. Furthermore, PSA-NCR PSO V has a total of 6,249 sample households, wherein 1,584 in Las Piñas City, 1,569 in the City of Muntinlupa, 1,637 in the City of Parañaque, and 1,459 in Pasay City. Moreover, the data collection will continue until January 31, 2024.
