National ID personnel ensure a smooth registration process by collecting both demographic and biometric information, and issuing National ID in Paper Form to job seekers.
Pasay City, 06 May 2025 – In celebration of the 123rd Labor Day, the City Government of Muntinlupa organized a comprehensive Mega Jobs Fair on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the 3rd Level, Hall A of the Alabang Central Market in Barangay Alabang. This event served as a key platform for connecting job seekers with employment opportunities within the city and nearby areas.
The job fair was conducted in line with the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) national campaign, themed "Manggagawang Pilipino, Kaagapay sa Pag-unlad, Sandigan ng Mas Matatag na Bagong Pilipinas." The theme highlights the essential role of Filipino workers in nation-building and in shaping a stronger, more inclusive society.
One significant feature of the event was the involvement of the Philippine Statistics Authority – National Capital Region – Provincial Statistical Office V (PSA-NCR-PSO V), which provided National ID registration and printed National ID in paper form through its service booths. This initiative enhanced the employment process by assisting applicants with identity verification while also contributing to the government’s broader goal of universal identification as an important step toward inclusive growth and efficient public service delivery.
By incorporating National ID services into the job fair, PSA took a proactive role in aligning administrative services with employment programs, thereby improving the chances of applicants entering the workforce and minimizing bureaucratic obstacles.
The success of the event was made possible by the collaborative efforts of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of Muntinlupa, whose thorough planning, community engagement, and logistical support helped create a smooth and impactful experience for both employers and job seekers.
Overall, the Mega Jobs Fair in Muntinlupa exemplified solidarity and progress, celebrating the contributions of Filipino workers while demonstrating the government’s strong commitment to inclusive economic growth and equal opportunity for all.
