08 March 2023 – CITY OF MAKATI, Philippines. The Philippine Statistics Authority National Capital Region Provincial Statistical Office III (PSA NCR PSO III) took to the streets of Barangay San Antonio, Makati City to joins the nation in the celebration of the 2023 National Women’s Month and National Women’s Day last March 8, 2023.

The theme for the 2023 to 2028 National Women’s Month is “WE for gender equality and inclusive society”. It encapsulates the advocacy and the commitments achieved during the 2016 to 2022 theme, “WE Make CHANGE Work for Women.”

Barangay Chairman Restituto E. Cajes approved the request of PSA NCR PSO III to conduct a parade in the streets of Barangay San Antonio. Additionally, he also sent representatives from the barangay who assisted in the traffic control, which contributed to the success of the event.

The PSA NCR PSO III parade was led by the women of the office who delivers relevant and reliable statistics, efficient civil registration services and inclusive identification system for equitable development towards improved quality of life for all. This event was held in commemoration of all the achievements and contributions of women to our society and to highlight the role of women in the pursuit of gender equality and empowerment.
