Number of Registered Deaths, City of Makati: January to March 2022p Source: Philippine Statistics Authority, Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Division, 2022 p Preliminary results   Based on the preliminary results as of 30 September 2022, the total number of registered deaths in the National Capital Region (NCR) for the first quarter of 2022 reached 20,233 or 11.63% share from the total registered deaths in the country.   The City of Makati recorded 784 registered deaths from January to March 2022 with 3.87% share from the total number of registered deaths in NCR.   In NCR, Quezon City reported the highest number of registered deaths with 4,467 (22.08%) while the Municipality of Pateros recorded the lowest number with 102 (0.50%) registered deaths. The City of Makati was ranked 11th with the highest number of registered deaths in NCR from January to March 2022.   Figure 1. Number of Registered Deaths, NCR: January to March 2022p   Source: Philippine Statistics Authority, Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Division, 2022 p Preliminary results   Registered deaths decrease by 23.21% in the First quarter of 2022   The total number of registered deaths in the City of Makati for the first quarter of 2022 showed a decrease of 23.21% or 784 total registered deaths compared to 1,021 in the same quarter of the previous year. Meanwhile, an increase rate of 31.74% was posted from 775 in 2020 to 1,021 in 2021.    In the monthly occurrence, the highest number of registered deaths occurred in March 2021, followed by January 2022 and January 2021. The lowest number of registered deaths was recorded in the month of March 2022. Refer to the Table 2 and Figure 2 below.   Table 2. This showed a decrease of 23.41% from 340 monthly average in 2021. Refer to Table 3, Figure 3, and Figure 4 below.   Table 3.
