QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES- The Quezon City CBMS Coordinating Board (QCCCB) held a meeting last 17 March 2023 as the 2023 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) initial rollout draws closer.
The main objective of the board meeting is to report an update on the current status and future plans of CBMS. This undertaking was proposed by the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO), one of the main implementing departments of the CBMS, to make sure that all aspects of the operation were polished.
The said meeting was presided over by Arch. Pedro Rodriguez, Head of the CPDO. Key members of the board were present during the meeting, including Mr. Michael Victor N. Alimurung, City Administrator; Mr. Paul Rene S. Padilla, Head of the Information Technology Development Department (ITDD); Mr. Ricardo B. Corpuz, Head of the Barangay Community and Relations Department (BCRD); and Mr. Jose Mar P. Pilar Jr., Assistant Head of the CPDO. The PSA NCR PSO II, headed by Mr. Apolinar F. Oblea, Chief Statistical Specialist, and the CBMS team of the PSO II were also present during the board meeting.
The primary focus of the board is to rollout strategies, check the recruitment status of the CBMS personnel, technical concerns, information dissemination, and the conduct of the CBMS roadshow. The CBMS is planned to roll out in the second week of April.
The CBMS is shaping up to be one of the most aspiring projects in the city to be conducted for the benefit of its constituents. Through the efforts of the Quezon City LGU, with the guidance of the PSA, and the participation of the general public, the success of CBMS is definitely within reach.
