The Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) celebrates the successful registration of Ms. Lolita Tobias Alcaraz, a resilient resident of Magallanes Village, Makati. Born on March 18, 1925, Nanay Lolita’s journey to PhilSys registration exemplifies the system's dedication to providing accessible identification services for all Filipinos, regardless of age or circumstance.

At the age of 99, Nanay Lolita encountered challenges obtaining a valid identification document, which hindered her access to essential services and benefits. Recognizing the importance of proper identification, especially in her senior years, Nanay Lolita registered with PhilSys.

Given her difficulty in traveling, PhilSys demonstrated its commitment to inclusivity by deploying its PhilSys On-Wheels registration service directly to Nanay Lolita’s residence in Magallanes Village. This proactive approach ensured that Nanay Lolita could complete her registration, reaffirming PhilSys' dedication to reaching every Filipino, in any part of the country.

Expressing her gratitude, Nanay Lolita shared, "I am thankful for PhilSys for coming to my home to register me. At my age, traveling is no longer easy, and without proper identification, accessing services becomes even more challenging."

Mr. Narciso H. Dino, (Supervising Statistical Specialist), Officer-in-Charge of NCR PSO III, emphasized the significance of Nanay Lolita's registration in advancing the system's core principles of inclusivity and accessibility. "Nanay Lolita's successful registration accentuates PhilSys' unwavering commitment to ensuring that every Filipino, regardless of age or circumstance, can avail themselves of the benefits of a national identification system. We are dedicated to leaving no one behind in our mission to empower all Filipinos through proper identification."

PhilSys remains committed to providing a secure, reliable, and universally accessible national identification system for all Filipinos. Nanay Lolita's story serves as a reminder of the transformative impact of PhilSys in improving the lives of individuals across the nation.
