01 February 2024 – SAN MIGUEL, MANILA. Pursuant to Proclamation No. 682 issued by President Corazon C. Aquino in January 1991, the Philippine Statistics Authority-National Capital Region Provincial Statistical Office I (PSA-NCR PSO I) formally opened the 34th Civil Registration Month celebration with the theme, “CRVS: The Future of Seamless Services” through a kick-off parade.

The parade was assisted by the police officers of Manila Police Station 14 and barangay police officers from Barangays 634, 637, and 640. 

The annual observance of Civil Registration Month reminds the citizens of their duty to register acts and events concerning status of persons and promotes national awareness and appreciation of the legal, administrative, and statistical values of civil registry documents.

The office has prepared a series of activities for this month-long celebration.
