14 May 2024 – MAKATI CITY. The PSA NCR Provincial Statistical Office III, the  Makati Health Department (MHD), and the Makati Social Welfare and Development Department (MSWDD) continue their partnership in providing timely information by conducting health-related, and Parenting Enhancement Seminars in line with the celebration of National Hypertension and Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, and Mother’s Day.

Mr. Rexson Philip H. Acain, RN., Health Education Program Officer (HEPO) of the Makati Health Department shared his expertise by systematically discussing the topic on Hypertension from causes to ways and means of prevention.

On the other hand, Ms. Michelle Camu, RN., Cancer Program Nurse Coordinator, also religiously discussed the sensitive issue on Cervical Cancer and answered straightforward queries regarding the topic.

Meanwhile, Ms. Katherine Jean F. Bolilan, RSW., Program Management Division of Makati Social Welfare and Development Department, handled the topic on Child Raising with Positive Discipline through the Parenting Enhancement Seminar.
