PhilSys staff ensure seamless registration by collecting the child's demographics and front-facing photograph alongside their parents or guardians.

The Philippine Statistics Authority's National Capital Region-Provincial Statistical Office V (PSA-NCR PSO V) proudly announces its active participation in the nationwide launch of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) registration program, particularly targeting Filipino children aged one to four years old.

Aligned with the provisions of Republic Act 11055, commonly known as the Philippine Identification System Act, this initiative aims to establish a unified national identification system for citizens and resident aliens of the Philippines. PSA-NCR PSO V's involvement underscores its commitment to extend PhilSys registration efforts to encompass more Filipinos, including minors residing in cities under its jurisdiction such as Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, and Pasay City.

Registration for children aged one to four years old requires the presence of a parent or guardian already registered in PhilSys. The child's PhilSys Number (PSN), also known as the permanent identification number, will be linked to the accompanying parent or guardian for verification and association purposes.

Validating demographic details necessitates the presentation of supporting documentation, which may include:

(1) Certificate of Live Birth issued by the PSA or the Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO)
(2) Report of Birth issued by the PSA or Philippine Foreign Service Post (PFSP)
(3) Certificate of Foundling issued by the PSA
(4) Certificate of Foundling or Certificate of Live Birth or Persons with No Known Parent/s issued by the PSA
(5) Municipal Form No. 102
(6) Philippine Passport or ePassport issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)
(7) Any document showing the full name of the child, date and place of birth, the full name of the mother, and the full name of the father, if acknowledged.

Upon successful validation of demographic information, the system will capture the front-facing photograph of the child. It's essential to emphasize that the collection of comprehensive biometric data, including fingerprints, iris scan, and an updated front-facing photograph, will only occur once the child attains the age of five years.

Following registration, an ePhilID will be issued, enabling its use in various transactions such as initiating a bank account for the child and facilitating passport applications.

Residents within the jurisdiction of PSA-NCR PSO V are encouraged to register at the following designated PhilSys registration centers:
