Precision meets service: PhilSys staff expertly capture biometric data, ensuring utmost accuracy for seamless registration for our Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW).

Parañaque City, 25 March 2024 – The Philippine Statistics Authority—National Capital Region Provincial Statistical Office V (PSA-NCR PSO V) has inaugurated a registration center for the National ID at the OFW (Overseas Filipino Workers) Lounge situated at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1.

The OFW Lounge serves as an exclusive haven for the nation’s modern heroes, offering a comfortable respite for travelers awaiting their flights. Located on the fourth floor near the pre-departure area, the lounge is accessible to all OFWs, regardless of their ticket class, and is free of charge.

In a collaborative effort between the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), a co-location has been established within the OFW Lounge to facilitate PhilSys registration. This initiative aims to extend enhanced services and convenience to OFWs seeking registration in the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).

PSA enthusiastically encourages all OFWs to avail themselves of this opportunity by visiting the dedicated PhilSys registration booth at the OFW Lounge. Through this facility, individuals can seamlessly register for their National ID and request the issuance of their ePhilID. The booth operates from Mondays through Saturdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The partnership between PSA and MIAA underscores a commitment to prioritizing the needs of OFWs. By co-locating the National ID registration center within the OFW Lounge, both organizations ensure a streamlined process for individuals requiring registration and the acquisition of their ePhilID. This collaborative endeavor exemplifies the dedication of PSA and MIAA to delivering efficient and customer-centric services to the public.
