QUEZON CITY PHILIPPINES - In celebration of the 10th year Anniversary of the Philippine Statistics Authority, PSA NCR PSO II, together with Regional Statistical Services Office - National Capital Region and PSA Central Office employees joined the DENR-NCR in taking part of the Simultaneous Tree-Planting Activity conducted on 23 and 25 June 2023 at DENR La Mesa Watershed Nursery.

Before the Tree-Planting, DENR staff gave an information, education and communication on what to plant to 16 employees from PSA NCR PSO II who volunteered and planted 160 Bignay seedlings. 

Simultaneously celebrated also is the Arbor Day, Republic Act 10176 otherwise known as the Arbor Day Act of 2012, this was institutionalized to be observed every June 25 throughout the nation by planting trees and ornamentals.
