01 March 2024 – SAN MIGUEL, MANILA. The Philippine Statistics Authority-National Capital Region Provincial Statistical Office I (PSA-NCR PSO I) joins and supports the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), the lead agency for this celebration, and the nation in its celebration of the 2024 National Women’s Month. This year’s observance has the recurring theme “WE for gender equality and inclusive society” and sub-theme "Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas; Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan!".

In connection with this, the PSA-NCR PSO I conducted a Kick-Off Parade which was participated by the employees of the office and assisted by barangay police officers from Barangays 637 and 640 and police officers from Manila Police Station 14.

The celebration aims to acknowledge the contributions of women in the society. Furthermore, this seeks to address the ongoing and emerging issues related to women empowerment and gender equality.

The office also prepared a series of activities for this month-long celebration.
